<heading>More Innovative Solutions with 5 Stages in the Design Thinking Process</heading>

If you are, while designing your product, thinking about end user, your customer, you could say that you started with Design Thinking. What is common for Scrum and Design Thinking? They both deal with complex problems. How user will behave, think or how your product could change his life, Hasso Plattner, Institute of Design at Stanford proposed five stage Design Thinking model: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test.

<heading>Empathize</heading>
In this phase you need to understand your users, their needs and the problems, problems that will be solved by using your product. Good thing is if company that will build your product is using Scrum. One artefact in Scrum is Product Goal. When Scrum Team is building product, they always have Product Goal in mind. It didn’t all started with Product Goal, it started from Vision, Product Vision, Product Roadmap to Product Goal. Both in common to Design Thinking and Scrum is to have end user on mind. When you search for a company that will create a product, company that you are entering product development process with, expect to talk about and users as well, there is nothing worse than build a product that nobody use. If you fail, fail early. You have opportunity to inspect and adapt. 

<heading>Define</heading> 
Think of your product as a solution for customer problems, needs. Think about features that are solving problems. Communicate your product as solution to client’s problems to company that is building your product as well. Be on the same page. Scrum will help you with increment development, every iteration called Sprint is adding value to your product, you are able to collect feedback as product is developing to gain feedback early. When you are invited to Sprint Review event, by the team that is building your product, please don’t skip it. This is your opportunity to redefine, to give feedback, to coordinate with your product development plan.  

<heading>Ideate</heading> 
All team members are suggesting ideas, here is when psychological safety comes in place. In psychological safe environment team members feel safe to talk. Whether you are empowering existing product, developing your product idea from the beginning as MVP, celebrate every suggested idea. In some companies, people are rewarded for rejected ideas. If you are in situation where ideas are coming one after one you are lucky. So, when you chose company for product development, “listen” carefully. 

<heading>Prototype</heading> 
It is time to create your solutions for previously defined problems. This is when Product Backlog is created. It is a prioritized list of work for the developers that is derived from the roadmap and its requirements. Product Backlog items on top goes to iteration, at the end of iteration called Sprint you will see first prototype. Inputs for Product Backlog are very important. They are coming from product vision, product roadmap, customers, marketing, sales… When communicating your requirements with company for product development let them be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-based). 

<heading>Test</heading> 
Now your users are testing your solution, giving you feedback so you can go into next production iteration. Try your solution and gain feedback from customers. Both with Design Thinking and Scrum you have 3 pillars of Empiricism in place: Transparency, Inspection and Adaption. Use them all. 

<heading>Core Principles of Design Thinking </heading>

There are several key principles that guide the process in Design Thinking that you could use:
• Human Centred – focus on creating solutions that meet customers requirements. Customer is in the centre of your mind. You are solving his problems. 
• Empathy – Design Thinking is calling for active listening, understanding clients’ emotions and motivators. This is why we are born with two ears and one mouth.
• Iterative Process – transparent process that enables to inspect and adapt, delivering value with each iteration. 
• Collaboration – all Scrum events are calling team members to collaborate because it leads to more creative solutions, effective ones. 
• Mindset – all that you were able to read previously is a matter of a mindset. If you get value from this blog post that means you have a mindset for it. 

This principle enables you to build product that are meaningful and have impact for end users.

<heading>Impact of Design Thinking on Product Development</heading>

Design Thinking is not just impacting product development it starts from Vision. First vision was created in mind, so we can say that Design Thinking is a mindset, as well as Agile, mindset that can be applied across all aspects of a business enabling solutions to complex problems. 

Right mindset is in place when principles come to live. Both Agile and Design Thinking principles foster collaboration, encouraging employees to think outside the box and experiment for solutions. Make decisions based on experiences. Look for a feedback loop. Gain your deserved market share. 

<heading>Embrace a Mindset to Design Thinking</heading>

When you are practicing empathy just put yourself into customers shoes. Think from different position. If you need, put yourself in third position as well and think like observer. Remember how acters are preparing for their roles, in real time situations most of the time. You are preparing yourself to solve real problems and empathy can help.

If you are a real talent but you can’t collaborate with others, you miss lots of chances for success. Collaboration fosters creativity, generates innovative solutions. Freedom to experiment and psychological safety, encourages a culture of experimentation and iteration. It values the process of trial and error, allowing designers to explore multiple solutions, refine ideas based on feedback, and iterate until they arrive at the most viable and effective solution (MVP). This freedom to experiment encourages risk-taking, fosters creativity, and ultimately leads to great innovations.

Having a mindset to design thinking with empathy, collaboration, and creating an environment where experimentation is encouraged, complex challenges can be led to meaningful innovation.

Nothing will happen, or you could build something that nobody uses.  It is up to you.

Imate ideju za razvoj proizvoda, pravite plan razvoja, istražujete proces, razmišljate kojoj kompaniji ukazati povjerenje da vašu ideju pretvori u proizvod kojeg klijenti obožavaju. Ako je odgovor da, idemo skupa istražiti kako Design Thinking i Scrum mogu pomoći u ovom procesu. 

<heading>Kroz 5 faza do inovativnijih rješenja </heading>

Ako ste, dok ste dizajnirali svoj proizvod, razmišljali o krajnjem korisniku, svom kupcu, mogli bi reći kako ste u osnovi aktivirali Design Thinking. Što je zajedničko za Scrum i Design Thinking? Bave se kompleksnim problemima. <heading>Empatija</heading>
U ovoj fazi morate razumjeti svoje korisnike, njihove potrebe i probleme, probleme koji će se riješiti korištenjem vašeg proizvoda. Dobra stvar je ako tvrtka koja će razvijati vaš proizvod koristi Scrum. Jedan artefakt u Scrumu je Product Goal. Kad Scrum tim razvija proizvod, uvijek ima na umu cilj proizvoda. To je i zajedničko za Design Thinking i Scrum, imati na umu krajnjeg korisnika. Kada birate kompaniju koja će razvijati proizvod, a ujedno primjenjuje Scrum, korisno je očekivati i razgovor o krajnjem korisniku, nema ništa gore nego napraviti proizvod koji nitko ne koristi. Greške su u uredu i prihvatljive su u ranoj fazi razvoja gdje imate priliku uraditi inspekciju i prilagodbu. 

<heading>Definiranje</heading>
Uvijek zamišljajte o svom proizvodu kao rješenju za probleme i potrebe krajnjeg korisnika, kupca. Komunicirajte svoj proizvod kao rješenje za klijentove probleme timu koji razvija vaš proizvod. Budite na istoj strani. Scrum će vam pomoći s inkrementalnim i iterativnim razvojem, svaka iteracija pod nazivom Sprint dodaje vrijednost vašem proizvodu, u mogućnosti ste prikupljati povratne informacije kako se proizvod razvija kako biste rano uradili prilagodbu. Kada vas tim koji izrađuje vaš proizvod pozove na događaj Sprint Review, nemojte ga preskočiti. Ovo je vaša prilika da redefinirate, date povratne informacije, da se uskladite sa svojim planom razvoja proizvoda. 

<heading>Ideacija, razmišljanje</heading>
Kada članovi razvojnog tima predlažu ideje, ovdje znajte kako je prisutna psihološka sigurnost. U psihološki sigurnom okruženju članovi tima se osjećaju sigurno razgovarati. Bilo da unaprjeđujete postojeći proizvod, razvijate svoju ideju od početka kao MVP, slavite svaku predloženu ideju. U nekim kompanijama ljudi su nagrađeni za odbačene ideje. Ako ste u situaciji da ideje dolaze jedna za jednom, imate sreće. Dakle, kada birate kompaniju za razvoj proizvoda, pažljivo “slušajte”.

<heading>Prototip</heading>
Vrijeme je da kreirate rješenja za prethodno definirane probleme. Scrum tim stvara Product Backlog. To je prioritetni popis poslova izveden iz plana. Product Backlog stavke s vrha popisa idu u iteraciju, na kraju iteracije pod nazivom Sprint vidjet ćete prvi prototip. Inputi za Product Backlog vrlo su važni. Oni dolaze iz vizije proizvoda, plana proizvoda, kupaca, marketinga, prodaje... Kada komunicirate svoje zahtjeve s timom za razvoj proizvoda, neka budu specifični, mjerljivi, dostižni, relevantni i zasnovani na vremenu.

<heading>Test</heading>
Sada vaši korisnici testiraju vaše rješenje, daju vam povratne informacije kako biste mogli prijeći na sljedeću iteraciju razvoja. Isprobajte svoje rješenje i prikupite povratne informacije od kupaca. Design Thinking i Scrum postavljaju 3 stupa empirizma: Transparentnost, Inspekcija i Prilagodba. Koristite ih sve.

<heading>Design Thinking i temeljna načela, principi</heading>

Postoji nekoliko temeljnih principa koja vode proces i koja biste mogli koristiti:
•	Usmjerenost na korisnika – fokus na stvaranje rješenja koja ispunjavaju zahtjeve korisnika koji je u središtu vašeg uma. Vi rješavate njegove probleme.
•	Empatija – Design Thinking poziva na aktivno slušanje, razumijevanje emocija i motivatora klijenata. 
•	Iterativni proces – transparentan proces koji omogućuje inspekciju i prilagodbu, isporučujući vrijednost sa svakom iteracijom.
•	Suradnja - Scrum i Design Thinking  od članova tima očekuju suradnju koja dovodi do kreativnijih, učinkovitijih rješenja.
•	Način razmišljanja, mindset – sve što ste mogli pročitati do sada je stvar načina razmišljanja. Ako imate vrijednost od ovog posta, to znači da imate mindset za to.

Ova načela vam omogućavaju da izgradite proizvod koji ima značaj i ima utjecaj na krajnje korisnike.

<heading>Kako Design Thinking utječe na razvoj proizvoda</heading>

Design Thinking ne utječe samo na razvoj proizvoda, kreće već od vizije. Prva vizija je stvorena na umu, tako da možemo reći da je Design Thinking način razmišljanja, kao i Agile, način razmišljanja koji se može primijeniti u svim aspektima poslovanja omogućujući rješenja za složene probleme.

Ispravno razmišljanje, mindset postoji kada principi zažive. Načela Agile i Design Thinking potiču suradnju, potičući članove tima da razmišljaju izvan okvira i eksperimentiraju u potrazi za rješenjima. Odluke je korisno donositi na temelju iskustava. Tražiti i uvažavati povratnu informaciju i na takav način imati zasluženi tržišni udio.

<heading>Kako koristiti Design Thinking</heading>

Kada vježbate empatiju, razmišljate iz cipela korisnika. Razmišljajte iz druge pozicije. Ako treba, stavite se i u treću poziciju i razmišljajte kao promatrač. Prisjetite se kako se glumci pripremaju za svoje uloge, većinu vremena u situacijama iz stvarnog okruženja. Pripremate se za rješavanje stvarnih problema i empatija može pomoći.

Ako ste pravi talent, ali ne možete surađivati s drugima, propuštate puno prilika za uspjeh. Suradnja potiče kreativnost, stvara inovativna rješenja. Sloboda eksperimentiranja i psihološka sigurnost potiču kulturu eksperimentiranja i iterativnog razvoja. Cijenite proces pokušaja i pogrešaka, potičite tim da istražuje višestruka rješenja, poboljšaju ideje na temelju povratnih informacija i ponavljaju sve dok ne dođu do najefikasnijeg i najučinkovitijeg rješenja (MVP). Ova sloboda eksperimentiranja potiče preuzimanje rizika, potiče kreativnost i u konačnici dovodi do velikih inovacija.

Kada imate način razmišljanja s empatijom, suradnjom i stvaranjem okruženja u kojem se potiče eksperimentiranje, kompleksni izazovi mogu dovesti do značajnih inovacija.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to talk with students at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing, and Electrical Engineering, University of Mostar, thanks to prof. dr. sc. Ivan Markić. We discussed the importance of college education and the additional learning opportunities available during their studies.

We presented our own Code Camp, educational web programming workshops. Our presentation covered the idea behind Code Camp, its organization, learning outcomes, and the opportunities it provides. We are currently enrolling the fourth generation of participants and are eager to welcome new students from FSRE.

Jučer smo imali priliku razgovarati sa studentima Fakulteta strojarstva, računarstva i elektrotehnike Sveučilišta u Mostaru, zahvaljujući prof. dr. sc. Ivanu Markiću. Razgovarali smo o važnosti fakultetskog obrazovanja i dodatnih mogućnosti učenja koje su dostupne tijekom studija.

Predstavili smo vlastiti Code Camp, edukativne radionice web programiranja. Naša prezentacija pokrila je ideju Code Camp-a, njegovu organizaciju, ishode učenja i mogućnosti koje pruža. Trenutno upisujemo četvrtu generaciju polaznika i jedva čekamo nove studente FSRE-a.

"My colleague and I were warmly welcomed by the staff in Mostar, and we quickly had the chance to meet most of the employees who were open to assisting with any questions. We were immediately involved in working on a project that was highly interesting – developing a system for driving exams (https://github.com/NedzmijaMuminovic/eDrivingSchool). This project was not only challenging but also provided us with the opportunity to apply and expand our knowledge, especially in technologies such as React and Go.

The flexible working hours and relaxed atmosphere in the company created a work environment in which we felt fully engaged and supported. The Globalsoft team, regardless of their position, provided us with a respectful attitude, making us feel like equal members of the team, not just interns. I also want to express my satisfaction with being welcome in the office in Široki Brijeg, which further enriched our experience.

Considering the engagement in the project, working with modern technologies, and the support we received from colleagues, this internship was not only educational but also very enjoyable. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work at Globalsoft and look forward to the possibility of future collaboration."

What is Hexagonal Architecture?

Hexagonal architecture, also known as Ports and Adapters or the Onion architecture, is a software design pattern that has gained popularity due to its ability to improve the maintainability, testability, and adaptability of an application. The layers of the application are represented as a hexagon, with the innermost layer being the core of the application and the outer layers representing various external interfaces.

Components of the Hexagonal Architecture

Domain Model

At the centre of the architecture is the Domain Model, which represents the application’s core business logic and entities. It is responsible for implementing the main functionality and rules that the application is built around. One of the critical principles of hexagonal architecture is that the core of the application should not depend on any specific external interface.

Ports

Ports are the interfaces that define the communication points between the application’s core logic and the external world. They can be categorized as:
 •	Primary or Driving Ports - define the operations that the application exposes to external actors. They represent the use cases or application services that external systems or users initiate.
 •	Secondary or Driven Ports - define the operations that the application needs from external services or components. They represent the dependencies or resources required for the application to function.

Adapters

Adapters are the components that translate the interactions between the external world and the core business logic by implementing the ports. There are two types:
•	Primary or Driving Adapters - convert external inputs into a format that the core logic can understand.
•	Secondary or Driven Adapters - implement secondary ports by providing the required functionality to interact with external services or resources.

Where GoLang fits the best?

After the very successful first edition of Globalsoft Code Camp, the second edition is currently rolling, and we are already planning workshops for 2024. The next edition will start in February 2024 and you can already apply using the template on our official website: www.globalsoft.ba/hr/code-camp. As until now, the workshops are free but the number of participants is limited.

As planned, workshops are held in Široki Brijeg, in a brand new space, specifically adapted for that purpose. Apart from the learning area, there is the entertainment space, available to all employees and Code Camp participants, which ensures a pleasant and a motivating working and learning environment.

Although the Code Camp has already proved to be a great project and a step forward for our company, we also have big plans for the future to come. To enable Code Camp enrollment to numerous interested students, we want continuously hold workshops, every two months. Furthermore we will adapt our Mostar offices to the needs of Code Camp which will make it even more available to college students population.

After the very successful first edition of Globalsoft Code Camp, the second edition is currently rolling, and we are already planning workshops for 2024. 

Nakon jako uspješnog prvog Globalsoft Code Campa, u tijeku je drugo izdanje, a već su u planu i radionice za 2024. godinu. Tako će sljedeći ciklus početi u veljači 2024. godine, a svoju prijavu možete poslati već danas putem obrasca na službenoj stranici www.globalsoft.ba/hr/code-camp. Kao i do sada, radionice su besplatne, a broj mjesta je ograničen. 

Kako je i bilo planirano, radionice se održavaju u Širokom Brijegu, u potpuno novom prostoru prilagođenom upravo za tu namjenu. Osim učionice, tu je i prostor za ”entertainment” koji je na raspolaganju svim djelatnicima i polaznicima Code Campa, čime je osigurano ugodno i motivirajuće okruženje za rad i učenje. 

Iako se Code Camp već sada pokazao kao sjajan projekt i iskorak u našem poslovanju, imamo i velike planove za budućnost. Kako bi omogućili sudjelovanje brojnim zainteresiranim polaznicima, želimo održavati radionice u kontinuitetu, svakih dva mjeseca. Također, prilagodit ćemo i ured u Mostaru potrebama Code Campa, čime će postati još dostupniji studentskoj populaciji. 

Osim što nudi izvrsnu priliku za učenje i razvoj vještina, Code Camp je mjesto za prepoznavanje talenata i može biti Vaš prvi korak prema karijeri u Globalsoftu!

Two weeks ago, two of our Project team members, Tomislav and Kristian, set a new internal record for furthest travel - at least for business purposes. They spent 3 days in Newcastle, in the north of England, in a tough but effective workshop with our new partners, Bede Gaming Ltd., along with some of our friends from the Userwerk/DS GmbH group. The trip was blessed with relatively good weather - not too much rain - and the guys managed some free time to check out the sights and attractions of downtown Newcastle.

Prije dva tjedna, dva člana našeg Project teama, Tomislav i Kristian, postavili su novi interni rekord za najdalje putovanje - barem za poslovne potrebe. Proveli su 3 dana u Newcastleu, na sjeveru Engleske, u teškoj, ali efektivnoj radionici sa našim novim partnerima, Bede Gaming Ltd., zajedno s nekoliko kolega iz Userwerka/DS GmbH grupacije. Putovanje je pratilo relativno dobro vrijeme - nije bilo previše kiše - pa su momci uspjeli naći i nešto slobodnog vremena za razgledanje centra Newcastlea.

The first edition of Globalsoft Code camp is done! After 2 months of diligent learning and practicing under the watchful eye of their mentors, Josip and Ante, the students faced a challenge - the final test. In total 31 students passed the test - 16 in the beginner and 15 in the advanced group - and their work and effort were rewarded with a signed certificate with which they can start their web developm﻿ent careers. We also polled the students to see what we could do better in future editions, such as administrative and technical organization, the course structure, clarity of the content and the overall atmosphere. Judging by the results, the mentors did a great job since more than 90% of the grades were “very good” or “excellent”! If you want to be a part of the Code camp, the next edition is planned for autumn of 2023 both in Široki Brijeg and in Mostar.

Prvo izdanje Globalsoft Code campa je gotovo! Nakon dva mjeseca marljivog učenja i vježbanja pod budnim okom svojih mentora, Josipa i Ante, polaznike je dočekao izazov - završni test. Ukupno je 31 polaznik položio ispit - 16 u početničkoj i 15 u naprednoj skupini - a njihov rad i trud okrunjen je potpisanim certifikatom s kojim mogu započeti karijere u web developmentu. Polaznike smo i anketirali da vidimo što bismo mogli poboljšati u kasnijim izdanjima, poput administrativne i tehničke organizacije, strukture predavanja, jasnoće sadržaja, kao i općenito atmosfere. Sudeći po rezultatima, mentorima je super išlo jer je preko 90% ocjena bilo “vrlo dobro” ili “odlično”! Ako i Vi želite sudjelovati na Code campu, iduće izdanje planirano je za jesen 2023. i u Širokom Brijegu i u Mostaru.

Last week, .debug, the largest annual developer conference in Croatia, was held in Zagreb. The organizer, Bug, organized a hectic yet fun conference with more than 80 lectures taking place simultaneously in 5 different tracks. Three of our devs, Ante, Tomislav and Jozo, took a trip up north to get a first-hand look at new, cutting-edge tech, make some new acquaintances and even bring back a few goodie bags! The biggest challenge for them was to decide which lectures to attend and which to skip... But in the end they managed to cover a lot of interesting topics, everything from AI to human resource management in IT. They also concluded that we at Globalsoft are advancing with the new trends and are staying up-to-date - who knows, maybe one of us could be a lecturer at one of the next conferences.

Prošli tjedan, .debug, najveća godišnja developerska konferencija u Hrvatskoj, održana je u Zagrebu. Organizator, Bug, organizirao je užurbanu, ali zabavnu konferenciju s više od 80 predavanja koja su se održavala usporedno u 5 različitih staza. Trojica naših developera, Ante, Tomislav i Jozo, uputili su se na sjever da bi dobili pogled iz prve ruke na nove, najmodernije tehnologije, sklopili nova poznanstva, a i vratili se s nekoliko vrećica sponzorskih poklona! Najveći izazov bio im je odlučiti koja predavanja posjetiti, a koja propustiti… ali na kraju su uspjeli pokriti dosta zanimljivih tema, od umjetne inteligencije do upravljanja ljudskim resusrima u IT-u. Također su zaključili da mi u Globalsoftu napredujemo u skladu s trendovima i da smo u tijeku – tko zna, možda bi netko od nas mogao biti predavač na nekoj od sljedećih konferencija.

Global Soft’s business expands and requires new infrastructure. Our headquarters offices in Trnska cesta 146 became too small for all employees. Not only that, we wanted to give a high-standard, modern and functional premises to our staff.!
The plan was rolling on and works were being done in a new location the last half a year and the beginning of the new year coincided with the new office being ready.

Two days ago, our new premises in Ulica pobijenih franjevaca (former Obilazna cesta) 25 were officially opened!

A toast in the office with employees, partners and clients was held, followed by hanging out with dinner and live music.

Das Wachstum von Global Soft erfordert eine neue Infrastruktur. Unser Hauptsitz in der Trnska cesta 146 wurde uns zu klein. Außerdem wollten wir unseren Mitarbeitern ein hochwertiges, modernes und funktionelles Gebäude zur Verfügung stellen.

 

Die Planungen liefen auf Hochtouren und ein Jahr lang wurde an einem neuen Standort gearbeitet, und Anfang des neuen Jahres war das neue Büro fertig.

 

Vor zwei Tagen wurden unsere neuen Räumlichkeiten in der Ulica pobijenih franjevaca(ehemalige Obilazna cesta) 25 offiziell eröffnet!

 

Im Büro wurde mit Mitarbeitern, Partnern und Kunden gefeiert, gefolgt von einem gemütlichen Abendessen und Live-Musik.

Posao Global Soft-a širi se i zahtijeva novu infrastrukturu. Uredi naše središnjice u Trnskoj cesti 146 postali su premaleni za sve naše uposlenike. Ne samo to, htjeli smo našem osoblju dati visoko-standardnan, moderan i funkcionalan prostor.

Plan se razvijao i radovi su se izvodili na novoj lokaciji u posljednjih pola godine, a početak ove godine podudario se sa završetkom novog ureda.

One more affirmation of security of our system and products came just at the end of 2022. We obtained ISO 27001:2013 certificate!



ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and their requirements. Being ISO 27001 compliant confirms we deliver secure products, keep  systems safe from threats and protect information.



Our system had already satisfied a number of ISO 27001 requirements and we worked on the aspects we had yet to satisfy to become completely compliant. The certificate is issued by RIGCERT certification body.



In addition to securing business processes, ISO 27001 compliance is a requirement for products and services in certain countries, which, being present in multiple markets, enables us to satisfy the requirement.



We continue to implement the security requirements in our everyday business, as well as in developing products and services.

One more affirmation of security of our system and products came just at the end of 2022. 

Eine weitere Bestätigung für die Sicherheit unseres Systems und unserer Produkte kam gerade Ende 2022. Wir haben das Zertifikat ISO 27001:2013 erhalten!

 

ISO/IEC 27001 ist die weltweit bekannteste Norm für Managementsysteme für die Informationssicherheit (ISMS) und deren Anforderungen. Die Konformität mit ISO 27001 bestätigt, dass wir sichere Produkte liefern, Systeme vor Bedrohungen schützen und Informationen bewahren.

 

Unser System erfüllte bereits eine Reihe von ISO 27001-Anforderungen, und wir arbeiteten an den Aspekten, die wir noch nicht erfüllt hatten, um die vollständige Konformität zu erreichen. Das Zertifikat wird von der Zertifizierungsstelle RIGCERT ausgestellt.

 

Neben der Sicherung von Geschäftsprozessen ist die Einhaltung von ISO 27001 in bestimmten Ländern eine Voraussetzung für Produkte und Dienstleistungen, und da wir auf mehreren Märkten vertreten sind, können wir diese Anforderung erfüllen.

 

Wir setzen die Sicherheitsanforderungen weiterhin in unserem Tagesgeschäft sowie bei der Entwicklung von Produkten und Dienstleistungen um.

Eine weitere Bestätigung für die Sicherheit unseres Systems und unserer Produkte kam gerade Ende 2022.

Još jedna potvrda sigurnosti našeg sustava i proizvoda stigla je baš na kraju 2022. Dobili smo certifikat ISO 27001:2013!

ISO/IEC 27001 je najpoznatiji svjetski standard za upravljanje sustavima informacijske sigurnosti (information security management systems - ISMS) i njihovim zahtjevima. Usklađenost s ISO 27001 potvrđuje da dostavljamo sigurne proizvode, održavamo sustave sigurnima od prijetnji i štitimo informacije.

Naš sustav već je bio zadovoljavao veliki broj ISO 27001 zahtjeva te smo radili na aspektima koje smo još trebali zadovoljiti da bismo zadovoljili potpunu usklađenost (compliance). Certifikat je izdalo certifikacijsko tijelo RIGCERT.

Uz to što osigurava poslovne procese, ISO 27001 usklađenost zahtjev je koji proizvodi i usluge moraju zadovoljiti u određenim zemljama, što nama, budući da smo prisutni na više tržišta, omogućava da zadovoljimo i taj zahtjev.

Nastavljamo implementirati sigurnosne zahtjeve u našem svakodnevnom poslovanju, kao i u razvoju proizvoda i usluga.

Još jedna potvrda sigurnosti našeg sustava i proizvoda stigla je baš na kraju 2022.

Global Soft developers seek to broaden their knowledge and soak it up from other developers which, on the other hand, are eager to share things they know more about. That is the concept our internal workshops are based on. 

In Decemeber, a Docker workshop was held by one of our DevOps Engineers. All developers, backend and frontend, from the company, took part in one-day workshop. 

The aim of the workshop was to up the level of knowledge and usage of Docker, being a tool present in everyday life of a developer. Extending their knowledge from users perspective, developers can use it to some extent in their daily tasks.



In Decemeber, a Docker workshop was held by one of our DevOps Engineers.

Die Entwickler von Global Soft streben immer danach, ihr Wissen zu erweitern und von anderen Entwicklern zu lernen, die wiederum bereit sind, ihr Wissen weiterzugeben. Das ist das Konzept, auf dem unsere internen Workshops basieren.

 

Im Dezember wurde ein Docker-Workshop von einem unserer DevOps-Ingenieure abgehalten. Alle Backend- und Frontend-Entwickler des Unternehmens nahmen an dem eintägigen Workshop teil.

 

Ziel des Workshops war es, die Kenntnisse und die Nutzung von Docker zu verbessern, da es sich um ein Tool handelt, das im Alltag eines Entwicklers präsent ist. Indem sie ihr Wissen aus der Sicht der Benutzer vertiefen, können die Entwickler es bis zu einem gewissen Grad bei ihren täglichen Aufgaben einsetzen.

Developeri Global Soft-a traže načine da prošire svoje znanje i upiju ga od drugih developera, koji, su, s druge strane, voljni podijeliti stvari o kojima znaju više. To je koncept na kojem su bazirane naše interne radionice.

U prosincu je održana jednodnevna Docker radionica, koju je održao jedan od naših DevOps inženjera. Svi developeri iz Global Soft-a, backend i frontend, sudjelovali su u ovoj jednodnevnoj radionici.

Cilj radionice bio je povećati razinu znanja i korištenja Docker-a, budući da je to alat prisutan u svakodnevnom životu jednog developera. Proširenjem znanja o njemu iz perspektive korisnika, developeri ga mogu do određene razine koristiti u dnevnim zadacima.

Želite li naučiti web programiranje, ali ne znate odakle početi? Student ste, zaposlena osoba ili osoba koja mijenja karijeru i želite unaprijediti vještine programiranja? Onda imamo savršenu priliku za vas!



Počevši od travnja 2023., održavat ćemo besplatnu radionicu web programiranja za pojedince koji žele naučiti osnove web razvoja. Naša radionica namijenjena je svima sa završenom srednjom školom i nekim osnovnim znanjem o programiranju.



Tijekom radionice, koja će trajati 3 sata, od 16:00 do 19:00, 3 dana u tjednu, tijekom dva mjeseca, naši iskusni programeri podijelit će svoje znanje i iskustvo s odabranim kandidatima. Naučit ćete osnovna pravila razvoja i razviti aplikaciju koristeći frontend i backend tehnologije. Na kraju radionice moći ćete izraditi vlastiti projekt kojim ćete dokazati naučeno, a koji ćete kasnije moći koristiti u svom fakultetskom obrazovanju ili obogatiti svoj portfolio za bolje rezultate na tržištu rada.

On Monday, April 3rd, we started with our Globalsoft code camp. More than 50 accepted candidates were divided into three groups, two basic and one advanced, and they will spend the next two months under the tutelage and mentorship of our developers Ante and Josip to learn the fundamentals of web application development, dabbing into both frontend and backend, with the goal of having everyone learn how to set up a basic web app by themselves. Who knows, maybe a future Globalsoft team member is hiding somewhere among these students! If you were too late to apply this time, there will be more code camps and workshops in the future, so stay tuned.



On Monday, April 3rd, we started with our Globalsoft code camp.

Am Montag, dem 3. April, haben wir mit unserem Globalsoft Code-Camp begonnen. Die über 50 angenommenen Kandidaten wurden in drei Gruppen eingeteilt, zwei davon für Anfänger und eine für Fortgeschrittene, und sie werden die nächsten zwei Monate unter der Anleitung und Betreuung unserer Entwickler Ante und Josip verbringen, um die Grundlagen der Web-App-Entwicklung zu erlernen, sowohl im Frontend-Bereich wie im Backend-Bereich, so dass jeder lernen kann, eine einfache Web-App selbstständig zu entwickeln. Wer weiß, vielleicht versteckt sich ja ein künftiges Globalsoft-Teammitglied irgendwo unter diesen Studenten! Falls Sie dieses Mal zu spät dran waren, um sich anzumelden - machen Sie sich keine Sorgen! In Zukunft wird es weitere Code-Camps und Workshops geben, also bleiben Sie dran.

U ponedjeljak, 3. travnja, započeli smo naš Globalsoft code camp. Više od 50 prihvaćenih kandidata razdijeljeno je u tri grupe, dvije osnovne i jednu naprednu, koje će provesti iduća dva mjeseca pod mentorstvom naših developera Ante i Josipa kako bi naučili temelje razvoja web aplikacija, ulazeći i u frontend i u backend, sa krajnjim ciljem da nauče kako sami napraviti osnovnu web aplikaciju. Tko zna, možda se među njima krije i neki budući član Globalsoft tima! Ako ste okasnili za prijavu ovaj put, bit će još code campova i radionica u budućnosti, pa nas pratite.

U ponedjeljak, 3. travnja, započeli smo naš Globalsoft code camp.

On Monday, April 3rd, we started with our Globalsoft code camp. More than 50 accepted candidates were divided into three groups, two basic and one advanced, and they will spend the next two months under the tutelage and mentorship of our developers Ante and Josip to learn the fundamentals of web application development, dabbing into both frontend and backend, with the goal of having everyone learn how to set up a basic web app by themselves. Who knows, maybe a future Globalsoft team member is hiding somewhere among these students! If you were too late to apply this time, there will be more code camps and workshops in the future, so stay tuned.

Code camp has started

This week we had some local guests - four 1st year students from FIT in Mostar, Software engineering major, together with izv.prof.dr. Veldin Ovčina, who we will be collaborating with to help them realize a project for their “Introduction to marketing” course. During our meeting - and a tasty lunch - we presented our company and our projects, as well as our marketing needs and ideas. Through this projects the students will have a chance to see the business side of software engineering - something that will definitely help them launch their future careers.

We will be collaborating with 1st year students from FIT in Mostar to help them realize a project for their “Introduction to marketing” course.

Ovaj tjedan imali smo lokalne goste - četiri studenta 1. godine mostarskog FIT-a, smjer Softverski inženjering, zajedno s izv.prof.dr.. Veldinom Ovčinom, s kojima ćemo surađivati i pomoći im u realizaciji projekta za njihov kolegij “Uvod u marketing”. Tijekom našeg sastanka - a i ukusnog ručka - prezentirali smo im našu tvrtku i naše projekte, ali i marketinške potrebe i ideje. Studenti će kroz projekt dobiti priliku upoznati i poslovnu stranu softverskog inženjerstva - što će im definitivno pomoći u lansiranju buduće karijere.

Surađivat ćemo sa studentima 1. godine mostarskog FIT-a u realizaciji projekta za njihov kolegij "Uvod u marketing".

From September 1st Globalsoft has 3 new members who will be working as interns. Mate and Marko are both students at FSRE who showed the most on our Globalsoft Codecamp workshops and will join the frontend and backend teams. Lamija, student at FIT, will be joining the QA team. Keep an eye open for our posts because a new time slot is coming for Codecamp workshops, so apply and become members of our team that way!

Od 1. rujna Globalsoft je bogatiji za troje novih članova koji će raditi kao praktikanti. Mate i Marko su studenti FSRE-a koji su se najviše istakli na našim Globalsoft Codecamp radionicama te će se pridružiti frontend i backend timovima. Lamija, studentica FIT-a, će se pridružiti QA timu. Pratite naše objave jer uskoro stiže novi termin Codecamp radionica, pa se prijavite i tako postanite članovi našeg tima!

After our successful first edition, 56 attendees, 31 certificates and employment of four colleagues, it’s time for the second edition of Globalsoft Code Camp!



The workshops will be held in Globalsoft premises in Široki Brijeg, this time in a newly built classroom intended specifically for workshops. The official start of workshops is on 06.11.2023 and they will last two months. Slots will be at 09:00 – 12:00 and 16:30 – 19:30, two times a week.



You can apply via the template on our official website www.globalsoft.ba/en/code-camp, and the applications are open until 29.10.2023. Number of attendees is limited due to limited capacity.

The workshops are free and available to everyone, from high school students, university students to already employed people who want to take a shot in the programming world. All you need is a laptop, good mood and willingness to learn.



The aim of the workshops is to give to all attendees the basics of web development as well as building a basic web app on their own which will help them in their future development in the web programming world.

Nach unserer erfolgreichen ersten Ausgabe, 56 Teilnehmern, 31 Zertifikaten und der Einstellung von vier Kollegen, ist es Zeit für die zweite Ausgabe des Globalsoft Code Camps!

Die Workshops finden in den Räumlichkeiten von Globalsoft in Široki Brijeg statt, dieses Mal in einem neu gebauten Klassenzimmer, das speziell für diesen Zweck konzipiert wurde. Der offizielle Start der Workshops ist am 06.11.2023 und sie werden zwei Monate dauern. Die Workshops finden zweimal pro Woche von09:00 bis 12:00 Uhr und von 16:30 bis 19:30 Uhr statt.

Du kannst dich über die Vorlage auf unserer offiziellen Website globalsoft.ba/en/code-camp bewerben. Die Bewerbungen sind bis zum 29.10.2023 möglich. Aufgrund der begrenzten Kapazität ist die Teilnehmerzahl begrenzt.

Die Workshops sind kostenlos und stehen allen offen, von Schülern und Studenten bis hin zu Berufstätigen, die einen Versuch in der Welt des Programmierens wagen wollen. Alles, was du brauchst, ist ein Laptop, gute Laune und Lernbereitschaft.

Das Ziel der Workshops ist es, allen Teilnehmern die Grundlagen der Webentwicklung zu vermitteln und selbst eine grundlegende Web-App zu erstellen, die ihnen bei ihrer zukünftigen Entwicklung in der Welt der Webprogrammierung helfen wird.

Nakon uspješnog prvog izdanja, 56 polaznika, 31 certifikata i zaposlenja četvero kolega, vrijeme je za drugo izdanje Globalsoft Code Campa!

Radionice će se održati u prostorijama Globalsofta u Širokom Brijegu, ovaj put u novoizgrađenoj učionici predviđenoj upravo za tu namjenu. Službeni početak radionica je 06.11.2023., a trajanje 2 mjeseca. Termini će biti u razdoblju od 09:00h - 12:00h te od 16:30h - 19:30h, dva puta tjedno.

Prijaviti se možete putem obrasca na službenoj stranici www.globalsoft.ba/hr/code-camp, a prijave su otvorene do 29.10.2023. godine. Broj mjesta je ograničen zbog raspoloživog kapaciteta. 

Radionice su besplatne i dostupne svima, od srednjoškolaca, studenata do već zaposlenih ljudi koji se žele okušati u svijetu web programiranja. Sve što vam je potrebno su laptop, dobro raspoloženje i volja za učenjem.

Cilj radionica je omogućiti svim polaznicima osnovu web razvoja te samostalnu izradu osnovne web aplikacije koja će biti od pomoći u daljnjem razvoju u svijetu web programiranja.
