Besides the location, the working hours are also flexible, so the workday can be fit in between 07:00 and 19:00. You can also work remote for a certain portion of your working week, while senior developers can work remotely full-time. As a member of Daniel Speyer GmbH, Globalsoft offers the possibility to travel and work from the offices of other members of the group in Germany and Malta, with paid travel and accommodation expenses.

At the „Skill Sprint 2“ workshop, we worked with Julles van Gurop to gain more knowledge about the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logastash, and Kibana). The focus was on re-engineering the way the application uses Elasticsearch, and the experience helped participants develop a new microservice for our search engine. „Skill Sprint 3“, led by Darko Djalevski and Gligor Gudjevski, dealt with Golang and rapid learning of its best practices. During the five days we focused on learning Golang, and thanks to the workshop we can now implement everything we learned about microservices without additional help.

GO Backend Developer

What we're looking for

We are seeking a senior backend developer with 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on building scalable and performant systems. Experience in e-commerce or similar domain is a plus. The candidate will be part of a product development team consisting of 4 backend developers, 2 frontend developers and 1 DevOps, working on long-term development of an updated version of the company's e-commerce platform.


  • Hands-on coding and development of the e-commerce platform

Necessary skills

  • Strong experience with Golang

Financial accountant (m/f/d) with DATEV for dynamic, international company

What we're looking for

As a Financial Accountant, our parent company offers you a job at a subsidiary at the location in Široki Brijeg (BiH) with a pleasant working atmosphere. As part of the global accounting team you will be responsible for the financial accounting of a business unit from our group of companies that is assigned to you, you will have your own creative freedom and report directly to the head of accounting and the management in Germany.

Are you characterized by both a great affinity for numbers and interaction with people? Do you like to work independently, in a structured and precise manner and do you have a sound knowledge of DATEV, a German accounting system? Then we look forward to receiving your application!


  • You will independently process the complete current accounting - including the general ledger, accounts receivable and payable and fixed assets. You will also set up accruals and make accrual postings. In doing so, you will ensure that all current legal and accounting requirements are applied.

  • You will take care of master data maintenance, as well as the reconciliation and maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • You will independently prepare VAT returns

  • You handle payment transactions with the help of banking software

  • You will independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements

  • Close coordination with the controlling department of the assigned company

Necessary skills

  • You have successfully completed a higher economic education (a master's or bachelor’s degree) or a comparable qualification with a focus on financial accounting

  • You have professional experience in the field of financial accounting

  • In addition to very good DATEV knowledge, LODAS knowledge (from payroll accounting) would be desirable

  • Confident handling of the MS Office package is a prerequisite

  • You like to work independently, structured and conscientiously

  • Fluency in written and spoken German

  • Willingness to travel to Germany
